Tuesday was quite a historic day that I am so proud to have been a part of, no matter who won. Now it's time for the United States to come together and get through all of the nastiness that is our economy and the war and everything else that could possibly be going wrong right now.
It's a good time to be a journalist. And if it's a good time to be a journalist, it means its a bad time to be everyone else...
We did some live blogging during the election viewing parties the Center for Civic Engagement held. It was a crazy night. I do have to say that I think Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert did the best reporting of the night.

I am so glad and proud that you have been able to be a part of this event.
And you are very correct....no matter who or what we are going to have to beat these problems together and need to press our representatives and assemblies to do what is proven and best for all of us.
Congratulations for being a part of history!!
Love you,
Mom
